Blessed - Lucky - FULL of gratitude.  It’s rare when people have the opportunity to truly love what they do to earn money. I spent the majority of my life “technically” working for free - I was a Youth Pastor for my parents church for more than a decade and was happy to serve the church and the community without pay.  I also helped run our construction company while staying home raising my two kids.  

When the time came that I needed my own steady income I was given the most amazing opportunity to work at a newly founded non-profit working with youth experiencing homelessness, literally 10 minutes from my home. This was a great fit  - I educated people about the issues and then gave them an opportunity to get involved and of course give money towards the cause.  

When some unfortunate and out of my control circumstances forced me to leave this wonderful place I was truly torn - where do I go now?  

At the nudging of my then fiance’ I made a call to a friend who was a real estate broker and asked about this crazy idea of me being a Realtor.  I loved the idea of helping families with such a huge (and usually stressful) decision, but also had all the background of having built and sold many of our own homes and worked in new construction for almost 20 years.  

Fast forward a few years….I love this work, I’m really good at it. It’s a blast connecting with families who are in all different phases of life, navigating and walking this journey with them.

If you’ve been a client - you know - we have lots of fun along the way!  One of the most important parts of this career is networking and meeting people and adding value to their lives.  This part comes really easy for me.  People energize me. Serving comes naturally.

Something was missing…..I knew there was more I wanted and needed to do and to give outside of my real estate knowledge. Funny enough….I’d actually started doing it long before I really realized where this could really go and how many people it could really help! 

I had already been sending out a magazine to my clients called Healthy Start - it’s a wonderful magazine, all kinds of tips, tools and articles on MINDFUL AND HEALTHY LIVING!  I hosted an event at my real estate office - Dr. Shanna, a Holistic doctor I had been working with. It was a huge hit and a much needed evening!   

This was it!  My own passion and journey for healthy living and my knowledge and skill in real estate didn’t need to be two separate things, but could work together to provide a wonderful service to all of the people I care about and come in contact with.  It’s been so much fun and such an honor to collaborate with amazing people who also have a heart to teach, train, educate and walk alongside others.  

I will continue my training & continued education around real estate, the market and how to best serve my community and also around mindful, healthy living ….and what that means for each of.
